Beracah Women

We meet at 9:30am every Wednesday in term time in the Church Rooms adjacent to St Thomas'.

Women of all ages
are welcome.

Beracah aims to provide a supportive and safe environment for members to share and care and have fun.

New members or those just wishing to drop in are welcome at any time. Come along and experience Beracah for yourself.

We gather any time from 9:30am onwards for refreshments and a chat and start the programme for the day at 10:00am.

We begin with notices and prayer requests, followed by a time of worship and prayer.

There is a different activity each week (a programme is published each term), ranging from outside speakers representing charities and missions, homegrown speakers sharing their experiences and knowledge of different skills and games, Intercessory Prayer, Bible Studies and once a term, we take an assembly at The Mead School and at Parochial School.

The meeting closes at 11:30am although many linger to socialise or to help with clearing up etc. We welcome ladies of all ages and provide a creche for mums with pre-school children. We have a large core of regular members and although there is no obligation to attend every week, we usually have about 20 people at each meeting. We also have regular outreach socials (at least twice a term) to welcome potential new members often from the St Thomas' Toddler Group or from elsewhere.
